Bill Gaytten tried hard on Galliano's flamboyant theatrics at his Couture Show last July where he was beaten, his recent Spring 2012-Paris Fashion Week showed lots of improvements and lots of questions too. Was the show exciting like Galliano's?...was the show theatrical and flamboyant like Galliano's? the answer: NO.But, was the collection appealing, pretty and wearable? the answer : YES.
And so the show goes on the secod time without Galliano, so as the Cinderella shoe fitting and pushing to Galliano's assistant at Dior. At the end of the day, does the collection impress you that much?Gaytten, took to the frontline and assaulted panners with his kind of Diorism...timeless silhouettes that actually are wearables. The prettiness, the fabness and the DIOR glam factors were there, from the draped chiffon cocktails, romantic nude gowns, day dresses and skirts, well, it appeared a job well done. Gaytten with out any pretensions made a comfortable Dior-looking, Dior-feeling wardrobes. The visuals and the cuts are outright Dior......
But we miss the "Touch", the "Feel"of a Galliano Dior, whose astonishing knack for edgy works brought us to his own journey of dreams...and maybe, after all .... will remain just a daydream.

A riot of pink and green eye popping palettes embellished with darts of ostrich feathers, translucent nude silks leggings, a birdcage bustier complete with released birds perched on top over a tight green jeans strutted with utter fierceness.Paco Rabanne's artisctic director, Arora seems at home in the catwalk after a five years absence, doing some style for the MINAJ-GAGA WEAR....but some of his clothes are acceptable.
