Jerome Allen Lorico's poetic spirit that, quite literally, flowed from start to finish on his Hemingway's epic- The Old Man and the Sea inspired collection, made him the most effective translator of the youth. The modernized fisherman looks are reminiscent of human struggle against nature. The derived influence of Lorico's clothes celebrated life while unwittingly gives the familiar posture of respect to the environment. His impeccably relevant collection denotes global sensitivity to ecology by using organic fabrics, earning him "cool points" to a much more greener fashion.
Lorico's palette of grays played out his deep sensitivity on his personal aesthetics, making him simply a cut above the rest. Opening the show with a relaxed silhouettes of loose trousers over long jacket, form of streaks of biased cut collar capture the essence of the the stormy grey sky, a factor which played in as large role of his untamed waves of the sea inspiration for this season. Using lines and geometric cuts that created a look beyond current time, his series of grey hues, the designer deconstruct marine essentials, transforming it into contemporary punkish type of a dark yet romantic industrial wears. As the collection progresses, grey fades to grey as day turns to night with ladies in sheath dresses appeared with molded wave-like motif on the bodices.
